Summer Is Here And It's Time To Prepare!
As we all know, Melbourne has just come through one of it's wettest Winters on record and the fact that temperatures are still not soaring is no reason to doubt the bushfire menace that is just around the corner. The rain has ensured that the level of fuel around the State is already very high and a few hot, windy days will see it dry out very quickly. Now is the time to be making preperations around your property and your home, clearing fire breaks and checking fire pumps, hoses and nozzles to be sure that should they be needed, they won't let you down. Summer is also storm season. Last February, Victoria, including metropolitan Melbourne, experienced some of the worst flooding since records began, so now it's time to prepare.
