For many years now, almost all parts of Australia has been living under Government enforced water restrictions. For so long the simple act of turning on a tap and receiving a perceived endless supply of clean water was an expectation held by so many. Today sadly that expectation has been changed forever. Water harvesting and Re-use is fast becoming an integral part of our everyday lives and Aquatrad is proud to be at the forefront in this area. The use of recycled water and harvested stormwater for irrigation, toilet flushing, cooling and many other areas where potable, or drinking water, is not a necessity, has become so common place that it is almost as natural to see a water tank in today’s suburban back yard as it is to see the iconic Hills hoist. Industry, schools, sporting facilities as well as homeowners now understand the importance of this change to how things need to be done and are fast becoming accepting of the costs involved verses the substantial benefits received. Through its involvement with many projects of this type over recent times, both large and small; (See Gallery) Aquatrad is fast gaining a reputation as a leader in this type of work.
